Aluminium's performace meets all needs
The Eku TT series comprise thermal break aluminium profiles for the installation of casement, sliding, and lift-slide, door and window fittings.
Eku thermal break profiles are produced by joining two aluminium profiles (internal and external) via 6.6 polyamide composite strips reinforced with 25% glass fibre. This brings together the strength and resistance of aluminium and the outstanding insulating capacity performance of polyamide.
Profile assembly is carefully monitored and carried out in full compliance with legislation currently in force in order to guarantee excellent quality standards.
The casement series is suitable for almost all applications and offers an extensive range of products including: windows and door-windows with or without shutters, doors for external use, fixed glass windows, shop windows, and composite fixed frames
The Eku TT casement window series allow users to manufacture fittings that – depending on the combination of insulating glass and frames - are in full compliance with thermal requirements as stipulated by current Italian legislation governing construction industry energy-saving (Law decree.192, 2005 and Law decree. 311, 2006).
Eku TT profiles for casement windows guarantee a significantly higher degree of thermal insulation compared to normal profiles, reducing not only the amount of heat loss via the fittings but also the emission of air pollutants associated with the energy employed in heating or cooling the house or building. Last, but not least, Eku TT profiles also considerably reduce the risk of condensation forming on surface areas.
Apart from improving the internal climatic condition of the building, fittings produced with the Eku TT casement window series, allow significant energy-saving.
Replacing an old window unit with a new thermal break fitting can reduce by as much as 100 euros your heating bill for each square metre of glass. Furthermore, it is also possible to take advantage of state incentives for energy-saving improvements to existing buildings, including 55% tax relief, introduced in 2007 and extended by the 2008 Finance Bill for the years 2008-2010.
