The Eku Glass series comprise thermal-break aluminium profiles which allow the installation of continuous curtain walling fittings simply and cheaply.
The basic structure is reticular with posts and transoms and offers the opportunity to install either fixed glass/glass panels or casement or protruding window fittings.
Solutions include both the “traditional” or classic type with cross beams and press-down latch for closing and face finishing (by far the most popular choice in today’s market) or reticular “unit” style solutions that can be quickly aligned and adjusted onto a reticular structure and ensure the aesthetic uniformity of fixed partitions and opening parts.
Casement-opening fittings normally employ the Eku TT product series, whilst protruding swing-open fittings are specially-designed and tailor-made to ensure the best functionality.
Interruption of the thermal bridge is carried out by spacers on the posts and by a standard thermal break (made of fibre glass reinforced polyamide bars) on the opening parts. It is possible to choose to fix the glass partitions with either mechanical retaining devices or structural silicone sealant in order to ensure that the finished product is one-hundred percent suited to the aesthetic requirements requested.
Thanks to the development of specific profiles and accessories, the Eku curtain walling fittings are designed to guarantee optimal properties and performance in terms of strength, thermal insulation and drainage. This allows the product range to be used in all circumstances and offers maximum safety and security.
The above features, together with the simple mounting and assembly typical of reticular solutions employing posts and transoms, ensure all these products respect all types of technical requirements as well as achieve excellent energy saving. It is therefore possible to provide the maximum standard of safety while fully respecting the strictest EU legislation currently in force
