At the course organized by Eku Sistemi Roma on September 25th and 26th, in addition to the Eku window makers, a group of students from the Teresa Gerini Salesian Institute also took part.
In these months, Eku – The Proflati Group in collaboration with Unicmi and the LegnoLegno Association, has organized courses for the acquisition of the “Posa Qualità” certification. The two-day courses have been organized in Milan by Eku Sistemi of Segrate (Mi), in Puglia by C. & S. Profilati Puglia and in Rome by Eku Sistemi Roma.
In Rome, the training experience also involved about ten students of the Salesian Institute Teresa Gerini, a professional school that since 1952 has been running courses for young people in the Roman suburbs. Among the many courses organised in mechanics, electronics and hydraulics, there is also one dedicated to window and door systems and their installation.
Eku Sistemi Roma has been a sponsor of the Institute for five months, supplying profiles and other useful material for the training of the students. The Institute, in turn, provides rooms, classrooms and educational tools when Eku Sistemi has to organise meetings, events or other initiatives.
On the occasion of the course for installation, held on September 25th and 26th, the professors Marcello Nori and Mario Gallo, respectively technical coordinator of the mechanical sector and teacher of the Institute’s window installation course, asked for the availability of some students to take part in the course so as to improve their training.
Together with the 11 Eku window makers, therefore, about 10 NEET students participated. The training course is of 900 hours, funded by the Lazio Region, and provides 448 hours internship in a company and 452 hours in the classroom.
«The course started in February of this year» explains Marcello Nori «and will finish in early November with a final exam and the issue of a certificate with a professional qualification in window making and installation».
