One of the latest trends in modern architecture regards the growth in physical dimensions of cladding and façade systems. To obtain aesthetic effects with greater visual impact or to give interior spaces more light and more visibility of the outdoors, extensive glass surfaces are becoming more and more popular.
In the case of curtain walls, this translates into the need for large modules, or very heavy glass infilling that the traditional U-shaped brackets of the transoms are incapable of supporting.

This is why we are developing a new joint system with glass supports reinforced both horizontally and vertically, in addition to a U-shaped slide bracket. This solution will allow to exceed a > 300 kg load bearing capacity.
We are completing all of the mechanical testing to identify the maximum operational load. We expect to place the new accessory on the market by April.
